LipsnBerries Makeovers Series Vol 2 - When All's Fired Up!

28 August 2015

Dodgy name I know but I couldn't come up with any tagline for this look! Maybe you can help me?
Oh! Here's Vol 1 in case you're wondering!

Introducing another pretty chic on the blog today, Our subject number 2, Miss S! So Miss S has never ever had a full makeover done. She is passionate about skincare and you'd definitely get jealous of her flawless natural skin. I certainly am! She's getting into makeup slowly and is absolutely loving bright lipsticks at the moment. Hence the look. I didn't want to pile up a lot on her face as its her first time but actually intended make her look naturally beautiful- dewy skin, neutral eyes and Hot Pink lips courtesy MAC All Fired Up Lipstick, which is one of my favorite lipstick for Indian skin. Guess who's buying one soon? She adored the lipstick.

The products that enhanced her beauty-

Benefit Porefessional (as Face Primer)
Elf Mineral Eyeshadow Primer in shade 'Blush' (as Eye Primer)
Bourjois Happy Light Foundation in shade 52 Light Beige (Foundation)
Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator (A drop mixed with foundation for glow)
LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in shade 'N*de' (Under Eye)
Essence Mattifying Compact Powder in shade '10 Light Beige' (as Setting Powder)
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in 'Medium Plus' (as Setting Powder)
Benefit Hoola Bronzer (For Contouring)
NARS Blush in 'O*gasm' (Cheeks)
TheBalm Mary-Lou Manizer (as Highlighter)
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal on a slanted eye brush to fill brows
Zoeva Love is a Story Eyeshadow Palette ( Used shades 'Little Kiss', 'Affair' and 'Over You')
Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen (for Winged Liner)
Essence Lash Princess Mascara
Ardell Natural Lashes in 118 Black (False lashes)
NYX Lip liner in 'Pinky' (Lips)
MAC Lipstick in 'All Fired Up' (Lips)

Notes:
- I looooved Pink Lips on her. They surprisingly matched her Indian dress exactly and went well with the green too!
- She wanted to try on the head piece/matha patti that I wore in my Eid look and agreed that its super heavy! hah
- I've put Fake lashes on with this look as Miss S was keen to have a shot at them. However, looking at pictures I feel they look a tad heavier. Can someone suggest me some good quality everyday lashes? What's your favorite?

So that is that! I'd love to know your feedback on this look. What did you think of the base? and the Eye Makeup? Could I've done something different? Talk to me in the comments below :)

Love
Nishu xx
