If there's one product that will be featured in my 2017 top 5 finds of the year, this eyeshadow palette is going to be at the top spot. Holy moly! I love this palette beyond words. Has this ever happened to you? You wait for a year or two for the product hype to die down, hoping it's just a marketing gimmick but the product still holds up on the charts and then you buy it and the you regret all the time you wasted thinking about buying it. And it isn't the first time this has happened with me. Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter- I waited so awfully long and then bought it one fine day and then regretted every day I spent without this highlighter in my stash.
Tbh this approach works for me as I'm NOT a makeup hoarder. I prefer quality over quantity & since I'm not super rich, I want to be 100% sure on what I put my money in. So most products in my stash deliver. It's tough not getting sucked into marketing (read unfollowing Insta accounts for all brands) but a girls' gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
So one fine day, I bit the bullet and bought Anastasia Beverly Hill's Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow palette from Beautylish.com. A genuine American website. No problems at all with their service. It was about $42 USD/ $60 NZD at the time. Free shipping (over $35). Recommended!
Ever since it has arrived, I swear I haven't touched any other eyeshadow palette. This is all I need for all my warm eyeshadow looks. Any warm/neutral looks that you've seen on me in past few months are courtesy Modern Renaissance. I'm still discovering new color combinations every time I use it.
If you're a novice, you'll have to go easy on the eyeshadow brush and tap the brush to get rid of excess eyeshadow. The shades are very pigmented so I'd recommend slowly building up the desired color (Been there, done that!).
If you're looking for a warm tone eyeshadow palette, look no further than Modern Renaissance. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. The reason I post this rave review now is because this coming Friday (Nov 24, 2017) is Black Friday sale time in US. If you can get hold of this palette, grab it in the first go. This will be gone in minutes for sure. As of today, it's Out of Stock on Beautylish.com. Pretty typical of this palette as it is ABH's best seller.

Do I recommend this eyeshadow palette? 1000%. I'd buy this again if I ever run out. If ABH tries to discontinue it, I'll buy back ups for life because warm eye looks give me life. They are so easy to carry off, look stunning and are effortless. I can literally do a wash of Burnt Orange or Red Ochre and won't have to apply any other color. It's that good. Apologies if this sounds too patronizing. Heck! I'm not even paid to say this. I'm genuinely impressed by the quality of this palette.
Hey! Can we just focus on it's beautiful blush pink suede packaging though? Wow! I'm totally spraying some waterproofing spray on it. Don't want to get it dirty.
