Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover Review!

Heya..Hope y'all doing good. How was the weekend for you? I had a super awesome and pretty busy weekend (for a change!) at Auckland Diwali Festival. The highlight being getting to hug my celeb crush "Superwoman". I shared the picha on my Facebook page (here) and Instagram (here).. yup! I'm there now.. It's kinda addictive!

Quick question: How do you like your face wash/cleanser? Foamy or creamy? I'm always confused about which one to use. Feel like using creamy one's but then I don't get that squeaky clean feeling. I've got dry skin so guess creamy is the one to go for! Anyways, Going to review my current fav! This one is dual- Makeup remover + Cleanser..! and added bonus.. Its natural..umm.. partly natural.. 86% to be precise!

The product in question!

Let’s move to the review… reporting back on the Neutrogena’s newest  (is that a word?) range, launched a few months ago in NZ, “Neutrogena Naturals”. I was sent the Fresh Cleansing + Make up remover by Beauty Review.

Close up!

Here are the test results (I work in a lab!! like seriously). We will be short n sweet-
Product:  Neutrogena naturals fresh cleansing + makeup remover
Price: $15.99 NZD/100ml
Buy it from: Selected supermarkets
Claims: Effectively cleans skin and removes 99% of makeup in one step without stripping skin’s natural moisture. This cleanser contains Peruvian Tara seed bionutrient which is clinically proven to soften skin naturally. Developed for the gentle eye area.
Ingredients:

Ingredients!
The Good:
  • 96% natural, sustainable packaging (Not 100% though!) Good on you Neutrogena for taking baby steps.
  • Smell pleasant, reminds me of fresh green apples (Not in the ingredient list!). Can be a tad overpowering for some, but its just a cleanser so you wont have the endure torture for too long.
  • Cleanses pretty well, without over-drying
  • Does a decent job of removing make up, even waterproof mascara. I'm a fan of double cleansing though!
  • Doesn’t irritate my overly sensitive eyes.  So RARE!!
  • Lathers well. Only a tiny amount needed
  • Well priced for something that is natural & 2-in-1( both cleanser & make-up remover

The not so good:
·         Not 100% natural
·         No other issues really

I’m all gaga about this cleanser & won't hesitate repurchasing it! Gonna check out other products from this range too.
Ok, I really really want to know what cleanser are you using at the moment?? Whats your skin type? There’s always room for more in this category. Share away!

Nishu xo
